Description
The copyright agent is crashing for Gaurav Gupta at UNO.
I have already talked extensively with him and he is getting this as the output of gdb:
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault. copyright_email_url (copy=0x63160, file=0xbfefb060 "") at copyright.c:551 551 pass.callout_data = copy->entries; (gdb) where #0 copyright_email_url (copy=0x63160, file=0xbfefb060 "") at copyright.c:551 #1 0x0804adfe in copyright_analyze (copy=0x8063160, istr=0xa3a82a0) at copyright.c:532 #2 0x0804c9ca in perform_analysis (pgConn=0xa393140, copy=0x8063160, current_file=0x8058048, agent_pk=40, mout=0x0) at main.c:434 #3 0x0804e104 in main (argc=1, argv=0xbffff754) at main.c:905
History
Updated by Paul Holland 9 months ago
- Priority changed from Normal to High
- IterNum changed from 6 to 7
Updating to a high defect and setting iteration 7 to be addressed.
This may already be fixed through the UNO work.
Updated by Alex Norton 9 months ago
- Status changed from New to Resolved
This isn't so much fixed as should not have been filed in the first place. After doing a lot for exploration of the issue it was determined that the problem was being caused by something else.
Setting to resolved.

- Status changed from Resolved to Rejected
We suspect the error was generated by a mixed source/package installed environment for at least 2 different versions of FOSSology at UNO.
UNO now has a working fossology instance :-)
